Smoothies, sweet smoothies


Well, some of you sent me mail asking what can you eat that's refreshing in hot spring/summer days. You used to eat fruits all day, you don't want to have 4-5 complete meals a day, it seems to much. All day you want to drink something, but you know juices and alcohol aren't the best for you. Well, what do you say about smoothies?
I was searching through internet and I found plenty delicious smoothies. I even tried some of them, and I will try the rest too :)
Here we go:

1. Raspberry/Lemon Smoothie

-You'll need:
1/2 plain yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/3 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
lemon peel to taste

2. Peach and Apple Smoothie

- You'll need:
1 apple, peeled or chopped
8 pieces tinned sliced peaches
1 tbsp maple syrup
3/4 glass of soy milk

3. Strawberry and Banana Smoothie

- You'll need:
2 strawberries
1/2 cup of soy milk
1 1/2 frozen banana
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp agave nectar


4. Organic Smoothie

- You'll need:
handful of fresh baby spinach leaves 
1 organic banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup organic apple cider
1.5 tbsp flax seeds
1.5 tbsp chia seeds

5. Peach and Banana Smoothie

- You'll need:
1 peach, peeled and sliced
1 banana, sliced
3/4 glass of soy milk

6. Apple and Strawberries Smoothie

- You'll need:
2 apples, peeled and chopped
125 grams of fresh strawberries

7. Kale/Berry Smile Booster Smoothie

- You'll need:
1 banana
8 ounces brewed green tea (plain, chilled)
4 ice cubes
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
4 kale leaves
1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
1 tsp xylitol

8. Strawberry, Apple and Orange Smoothie

- You'll need:
2 oranges, juiced
125 grams fresh strawberries
1 apple, peeled and chopped




9. Avocado Smoothie (for 2)

- You'll need:
1 large ripe avocado
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup Greek Yogurt
1/2 to 1 cup coconut water
2 tbsp honey
pinch of salt
optional: mint or basil

10. Icy Smoothie:

- You'll need:
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1 orange, juiced
10 ice cubes

11. Chocolate Expresso Smoothie:

- You'll need:
1 peeled banana, cut in 4 from the freezer
2/3 cups of milk
1 tbsp honey
4 tsp malted chocolate powder
1 tsp strong coffee or 1/2 tsp instant expresso powder

12. Spring Blackberry Smoothie

- You'll need:
crushed ice
1/2 cup blackberries
1/2 cup light almond milk
1/2 banana
1/2 tbsp agave
1/4 cup soy yogurt

13. Green Monster Smoothie:

- You'll need:
1/2 cup water
1 banana
frozen blueberries
spinach

14. Green&Glowing Smoothie

- You'll need:
1-2 bananas
frozen peaches
frozen mango
couple handfuls of spinach
water
ice

15. Tropical Green Tea Protein Smoothie

- You'll need:
1 cup frozen mango chunks
5 ice cubes
1 small banana
1 scoop soy protein powder
1 cup brewed green tea, cold
1/4 cup carrot juice
1/4 cup vanilla coconut milk
